Noel at “Found my LS Swap is awesome and continues to be so long after the sale! Noel helped my son and I by providing a healthy LS 5.3L and years of insight and experience. Noel is extremely knowledgeable and was willing to help us replace some parts so we could run the engine on his stand. Noel was kind enough to perform a compression test and show oil pressure in front of us to ensure we had a solid donor. He was happy to start the engine when we came to pick it up! Help us load it into our trailer as well!

Since the purchase he has provided us with great advice and industry contacts that have contributed to our build. He was transparent about the kind of condition the engine was in and where it came from. He explained the work he had put into it to get it running and gave us a fair deal.

I was deciding what to do with a project truck I was building. I wanted to get away from the traditional 350. With some research I came across “Found my LS Swap”. After a couple conversations I decided to go with a 5.3L LM7 from a 2001. It had 231,000kms on it. Reasonable mileage I thought.

It was wired for 5 wires with injectors bench checked and cleaned. They showed compression and oil pressure on a run stand right in front of me!

It was delivered to my shop at a very reasonable price. When installing I did call back for help and was Noel was happy to answer questions and help me out after the sale. Totally reputable place. Don't buy junk from a scrap yard. I give this place 5 stars.

I bought and engine a while ago from a friend for a “great deal”. Since then I have spent a lot of money replacing parts that I have been painstakingly been finding out are bad. Starter, altenator, damaged coils, wires etc.

I met Noel at a swap meet and used his injector cleaning service because they too had issues! After replacing 2 injectors I was finally ready to fire this thing up only to discover i needed to remove the antitheft system. Called Noel again after some time for more help. I sent him the computer by mail. He had it back to my first of the next week.

Moral of the story; pay once cry once! When we swap my dads truck I’ll be contacting “Found my LS swap” first. Don’t fall into the same trap I did.

Will you swap my 88' OBS?

We provide healthy, documented, running engines for your hot rod project. We have a few local contacts that we can refer you to but we do not provide the actual swap service for you. Besides, isn’t that the fun part?

How much for an engine for an 08' Ford Escape?

We do not sell engines for any specific car. We only sell LS/Vortec based engines. We mainly specialize in Gen3 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L engines. We can source pretty much any GM Engine Gen3, 4, 5. Give us a call to discuss your requirements!

How much for a harness and PCM?

Hiring someone to rework a factory harness is just not cost effective. Hours of labour go into separating, depinning and rerouting a harness. The labour costs reflect this. An quality aftermarket harness can easily cost $500 plus!

Having said this, our philosophy is to retain as much factory equipment as possible. The quality of the wiring is superior to any $200 harness you can buy online. We’re always happy to discuss this further. Accomplishing this is not as bad as you think.

PCM’s (Powertrain Control Modules) with VATS deleted are subject to availability.

Do you sell transmissions?

Yes we do. This is a tough one though. We are not able to test a transmission in front of you and show you it work as we do with our engines. When we do get a transmission we have it on good word from our suppliers that the transmission was in perfect working order before it was pulled from the donor vehicle.

I don’t have a truck or trailer. Do you deliver?

Yes we do! Our rate for delivery is .50 cents per Kilometer. Mileage is calculated return trip from our shop. We will go anywhere to deliver the engine so you can start your dream build!

We also ask for the name of your best local diner so we can enjoy lunch in your town before we head home :)
